Waterfowl hunting in the shallow waters of Tangier has been a tradition amongst islanders for generations. The shallow water grass beds feed as many as 26 species of waterfowl and geese every year making this small place in the middle of the Chesapeake Bay a prized part of Virginia. With having more than 50 guides decades ago, Tangier Island Outfitters is the last one doing guided waterfowl trips on Tangier Island.
